José António Ribeiro Neto (Zezinho) is a Portuguese-European author, the son and grandson of Portuguese ancestors, residing between Portugal and Brazil. His wife is a music teacher, his daughter is a journalist, and his son is an economist.
He was born and raised on his grandfather's farm, where he learned about farm work and the traditions of Portuguese culture. His interest in writing stemmed from his interactions with his grandfather, an admirer of Eça de Queirós, who loved Portuguese literature and would tell him captivating stories about Portugal and his adventures overseas.
Education: He played soccer until the age of 22, participating in children's, youth, amateur, and professional teams. He graduated from high school with a specialization in Physical and Biological Sciences, obtained a technical degree from Technical College, and earned a BA in Mathematics. He later specialized in Computer Programming, Systems Engineering, Big Data, Data Science, and AI.
Career: He entered the business world in the fields of Technology and Education, working as an IT teacher, Technical Author, Researcher, and IT Executive. In Brazil, he held the positions: USA WebCT IT/eLearning Executive. MS SaaS IT Executive. Digitalis Portugal Representative. Director of Education and Technology.
Current Life: He is an Author and Researcher in AI, Data Science, and Digital Transformation in Portugal. He volunteers at Coursera as a Mentor, Translator, and AI Course Tester. A supporter of Benfica, he enjoys soccer and traveling to explore different countries and meet new people. His greatest wish is for everyone to live in peace on this planet.
