I started writing this book in Portugal and finished it in Brazil.
During my childhood and adolescence, I spent a lot of time with my Portuguese grandparents, from whom I learned many lessons and ways of dealing with life.
Using these teachings, I sought to show that it is possible to reinvent oneself, especially when we are affected by unexpected events called "black swans".
It was a way to honor my Portuguese grandparents for the love, kindness, affection, and encouragement they gave me, for teaching me about Portuguese life and love for Portugal.
I miss them, and I know that one day I will meet them again.
