José António Ribeiro Neto (Zezinho) is a Portuguese-European author, son and grandson of Portuguese, residing between Portugal and Brazil. His wife is a music teacher, his daughter is a journalist, and his son is an economist.
He was born and raised on his grandfather's farm, where he learned about farm work and the teachings of Portuguese culture. His interest in writing stemmed from his interactions with his grandfather, an admirer of Eça de Queiroz, who loved Portuguese literature and would tell him captivating stories of Portugal and his adventures overseas. He enjoyed reading his grandfather's collection of Portuguese books and periodicals, sitting on the wooden floor of the colonial house.
Education: Played soccer until the age of 22 in children's, youth, amateur, and professional teams. Graduated from high school specializing in Physical and Biological Sciences, obtained a technical degree from MKT Technical College, and earned a BA in Mathematics. Specialized in Computer Programming, Systems Engineering, Big Data, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
Career: Entered the business world in the areas of Technology and Education as an IT teacher, Technical Author, IT Researcher, and Executive. In Brazil, held the positions of: IT/eLearning Executive at USA WebCT, IT Executive at Microsoft SaaS, and Representative for Digitalis Portugal in academic management systems.
Current Life: Is an Author & Researcher in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Digital Transformation in Portugal, and serves as a Big Data Mentor, Translator, and Tester at Coursera. Enjoys soccer and traveling to meet countries and people. His wish is for everyone to live in peace on this planet.
