My main international experience was representing USA WebCT in Brazil for 10 years as an IT/eLearning Executive. An American eLearning company that merged with Blackboard. Annually, we had international partner meetings lasting two weeks, with the first week dedicated to congresses, product and service exhibitions, and the second week to technical training, sales, and marketing of new products. Over 60 countries participated. In the training sessions, the teams were integrated, and we could learn about business in different countries.
Some international trips made for studies, conferences, tourism, and developing new business partnerships:
1982 – Boston, USA - Visit to MIT and Harvard - New educational technologies for IT.
1982 - New York - Cultural and touristic visits.
1992 – Seattle, USA – Partnership with ToolBook Asymetrix (company of Paul Allen, founder of Microsoft).
1992 – Seattle, USA – One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA - Microsoft Professional Certification.
